Lullaby, little pearl,
Dear baby Jesu,
Lullaby, little pearl,
Dear baby sleeping;
Lullaby little one,
Dear baby Jesu,
Mary is holding you,
Guarding and keeping.

Bring food for the little man,
Good things and pleasant;
Bring for the little man
Every sweet berry;
Into the garden go
Where all is pleasant;
Mary will comfort him
Keeping Him merry.

Bread for His little mouth
With golden butter -
Bread for his little mouth,
A loaf to feed Him -
Put in His cradle mow
Good bread and butter.
If he should wake from rest
Mary will heed Him.

I've added this since Mary pointed me in the right directions for a set of Polish lyrics. However, I have had to gloss some of the characters to the nearest equivalent as some one them seemed to be translating to the wrong character set.

Rockabye Jesus

"Lullaby, Jesus, My Dear One, Be Sleeping" (From Carol, Gaily Carol: Christmas Songs for Children, chosen by Beatrice Harrop, London: A & C Black, 1973, 1984, no. 19).
1. Lullaby, Jesus,
My Dear one, be sleeping.
Lullaby, Jesus,
While watch I am keeping.

(Chorus)
Lullaby, baby,
My darling, I love you.
Your mother will sing
And so gently will rock you.

2. When you awaken,
Sweet Jesus, I'll give you
Raisins and almonds
And sweet berries too.

3. Hush, he is sleeping
While stars shine above us;
Like the bright sun
Is the sweet baby Jesus.

This melody was a Polish folk tune and adapted by Chopin in his Scherzo in B minor, opus 20.

My computer is so messed up now I'm not sure I can see this page again - but it was a large jpg a few minutes ago, then a smaller one. It appears to be another translation.
